87 nissan truck alternator upgrade help

im looking for something better than the stock 50 amp alternator i run dual batteries and i keep burning them up what other year models are compatable with a z.24i motor ? i heard the quest alternator may work with a pully change ?

check with an alternator rebuild shop see if they can build it up or can offer a better one.

i have they want 300 and im not about to pay that if i can use a diffrent alt from another model nissan
