87' Nissan D21 4x4 Engine Swap Options

Did a quick search and couldn't really find a lot of info.

Looking @ buying a 87' Nissan Pickup 4x4 with the 4 cylinder engine (z24i I believe?)
Engine is getting kind of tired so just wondering if something like a KA24DE would bolt in?

If so how difficult etc? Looking for something fairly simple to do with not a lot of fabrication.

A KA24DE will fit and can totally be done. You'll need the engine itself and all the wiring/computer that comes with it for it to work. It's a simple swap that yields some pretty nice results from what I have read.
