87 maxima headlight question

A buddy of mine ordered HID's for his 87 maxima and weve ran into a problem installing them, the drivers side when in 100% and works just fine, however the passenger side does not come on no matter what combination you plug the wires in, yet if you put in the regular bulb, it works just fine. We know the hid for the passenger side works just fine because we put it straight to the battery. Also, on the passenger side the wires going into the connector is different colors than the drivers side, any ideas?

You said that you've tried every combo for the wires? Have you tried the passenger side ballast with the drivers side? The only thing that I can think of is a bad ballast. What brand of HID's did your friend buy?

Yes I did, I went out and put a new fuse in just cause and now it works, so maybe the fuse was weak or something, idk? thanks anyways man.
