I know this is a 2nd gen Max and not technically listed in forum, but I thought I would post to see if anyone the later gens had similar problems. I am blowing ignition control modules frequently, where the most recently lasted 750 miles/1 year. This was an OES part with a Nissan part number. At that time the ground path from icm to body looked good.
From what info I can gather it could be the part is getting to much current and could be due to a bad ground or some other component failure. Has anybody fixed/diagnosed this problem ? If it is the ground problem, what voltage drop/resistance value should I look for ?
