87 hb stumbles upon accaleration after warm up...

hey nico,

i have a 87 nissan d21 hb z24 tbi w/5 speed trans.

the truck runs great until it is warmed up and then it will stumble upon accaeration.sometimes i can coax it along and sometimes i have to turn it off and restart it ,it runs well again til it happens again.

help.

when was the last time you had the carb adjusted?

this truck does not have a carb...

wth the z24? my dads truck had that engine with the carb. ok then usual suspects if it's running a bit on the weak side, the cts and the tps

tps =throttle position sensor /replaced.no effectcts =cooloing temperture sensor /unplugged w/no effect on stumble

have you checked pulling the injector plugs one at a time? If your engine stumbles, it's not that injector. If the engine stays the same, then it's that injector.

the injectors on this model truck (of which there are 2) are both powered from the same wire(or electrical source.

i wll try to figure a way to disconnect them one at a time.

also this problem is not happening all the time.

if it's intermittent, give your injectors the ol wiggle test.
