Ok heres the deal, I went mudding with my '87 4x4 pickup a couple of weeks ago and got stuck. The truck shut off in the middle of this huge puddle. Water was up to the top of the wheel wells on the drivers side and slightly less on the pass side. After getting out of the water, I tried to start it. It would turn over but not fire. Soon it wouldn't even do that. I brought it back to the house and let it dry out for about a week, charged the battery and tried again. Engine would crank, but I have no spark. What do you think it is? I can smell gas when I crank it but I don't hear the fuel pump. Is there a relay/fuse that I should check/replace? Any other ideas?
