87' Hardbody 4x4 engine swap options

hello all,

First off...YES I did search and couldn't find a definitive answer.

Looking into swapping either a KA24E or DE into my 87' Hardbody 4x4.

Wondering if anyone has done this and if motor mounts etc bolt up or its a huge ordeal. Will a 240 trans bolt up to the transfer case etc. or use the Z24 trans.
