I've got most of the bugs worked out except the starting issue where I have no spark while cranking!
The truck starts but only after I leave off the key. I put a spark tester on both coils and there is no spark during cranking, after I leave off the key boom there's spark. I downloaded the manual and ran the start test, okay. I have ran the Mode 3, 4, and 5 to no avail.
Although where I run test mode 3 the manual says it should flash 55 but mine flashs 44.
I couldn't find a code 44, but from my GM days I know 44 means lean.
I have 12v to the coils the whole time so I assumed the ECU or crank angle sensor.
I tryed a different distributor with the same symptom.
Anyone seen this or something I'm forgetting.
