Replaced both injectors, distributor, plugs, wires, air filter, coolant temp sensor, topped off coolant, now running 93 octane gas with seafoam additive. Truck would run really rough and die then not start again. Changed all the above parts and now it runs but still occasionally runs rough. Don't want to take the chance of it dieing while on the road. Any other parts that I should be looking at replacing to solve this problem?

how is fuel pressure? Kinda sounds like a fuel issue to me...

Welcome to NICO

Also, I moved this to the trucks forum... Good luck!

mechanic said the pressure was fine. originally thought problem was due to a bad injector so remans were put in and its a lot better but still has the problem. just minimally.

did you actually test the fuel pressure? Just because it was building some pressure, does not mean that the fuel pressure is "good"...

Ok cool... IN that case, have you checked the connector on the MAF? That would be the next thing I would check, check the connector for corrosion and a solid connection.

I am not particularly learned in these engines, just nissan's in general, so I'm kinda taking guesses...

I saw this the other day, and if I would have seen it sooner I would have reccomended it sooner as well. I'm not saying it for sure is the problem, but here it is:
for all you folks that have a nissan that runs and dies check the ignition coil mounting bracket to see if you have a transistor control module mounted on it it could be a 2 or 1 plug module they work thru your computer and will cause ignition problems when bad, new cost from $115 at auto parts stores to over $200 at a dealer i replaced 3 already solved the problems of running and dying also nissan engines are prone to leaking intake gaskets from the factory causing your engine to suck air and not run right you can take a mechanics stehascope and probe around the intake ports and listen or spray starting fluid around them and listen for engine runs faster
Also check the TPS for a dead spot. Those wear out and cause the engine to do some wacky stuff.
