87 200sx v6 se ca18det swap question?

I have a 1987 200sx V6 se Im workin on my 1990 240sx coupe right now, but i would like to kno info on a ca18det swap for my 200sx. As you guys kno for a 89-90 240sx u have to get a dohc p/s reservoir and lines and a/c lines, now my question is for a ca18det swap in my 200sx is there anything i need to change or can i jus do a direct swap? I would appreciate any info. thanks

why not turbo the VG, its a good motor.

turboing the standard VG has been looked into before. As far as I understand, all you really need is a custom tubular turbo manifold so that the turbo won't hit anything. There's not a lot of room.

ANyways, to answer the question. It should be the same. I just did a ca18et to ca18det and I'm using the S12 p/s resevoir and everything. The only thing I had to change was I switched the the DET engine mounts for the ET mounts. Don't know if you need to do the same for the VG, I don't know what those mounts look like.

I would turbo the Vg but its has a lot of miles on it i bought it from some kid who didnt really kno anything about cars. It runs but not that well, right now its in my backyard im thinkin bout sellin it but if no one wants to buy it then im goin to do work to it after i swap over my 240. I havent had time to look at it yet as far as i kno it needs a new exhaust Im thinkin bout doin a custom 2.5 inch since i cant find a cat for it if u guys kno where i can get a cat for it that would help too. When i get time to look at it or take it too a shop ill give you guys more info. If u kno anyone that is interrested ill let it go for $600. When i get pics ill post.

the mileage is pretty high i jus wanted to get it off the kids hands its an 87 has 183k, light blue, and 5spd. If i can get my friends camera ill take pics. I jus bought new back brakes and rotors for it but i didnt put them on yet.

i dont know much about s12's but for some reason im thinking the v6's and the 4's have different crossmembers.

or i might just be thinking of mustangs.
