86 z wont start

before it would not start if I rock it or pushed it foward then try to start it it would start right up. then the other night I was getting off the freeway when I braked for the off ramp the car shook very voilently. after that no more starting at all. at first the car did nothing I check all the cables, now I just get a click. can anyone help me?:help

How's the battery? You could have low system voltage that is choking the car. Does it have oil? I know these seem like basic questions but it's a good starting place.
