I was gifted a 1986 D21 king cab xe 4x4 and I have some questions.

1.) Can someone explain to me why it's a z24 but my parts places say z24i for this year?
2.) From what I read the z24 is carb but this one looks to be fuel injected.
3.) What is the factory ride height for these trucks. And if you were buying new suspension what would you run?
4.) Shop manual - this is because of the year and engine.

I'm sorry if this info is readily available, I think I'm just mixing up models and this particular year seems to be different. I bought 25' of vacuum line last night to replace each hose one by one because it was stumbling yesterday after warming up and noticed brittle lines.

The truck was originally bought new from Nissan in 86, it has a build date of 2/86 but the purchase slip says 86.5. the truck was well taken care of by the gentleman who passed and I really want to fix it up for my wife because she has fond memories growing up in this truck.

I have the original purchase slip and it looks like the owner manuals that Nissan gave out. I haven't seen PDFs of the books it has so I might add some photos for others if they want.

Any help would be great.
