I'm planning on going to look at an 86 Hardbody shell in a few days as I need parts for the 720. Given that I'm new to the Nissan fold I'm not sure what, if any, parts will transfer over to my truck. I'm in need of a rear diff and interior bits & pieces mostly. I figured what I didn't use I could sell to a junkyard or part out or whatever to recoup some of my money. If none of the parts are transferable though then I won't waste my time or his.

The truck in question.

the interiors are fore sure different... the diff might work but i'm not 100% sure... there are little things here and there that will swap between the 2 but overall the 720 is more a datsun than a nissan and the nissan transition changed up a lot of things

Would the power steering box from the D21 work on the 720?

Went and picked up a 720 diff yesterday. The guy had a d21 and a 720, said both are the same. He had crashed the d21 and used most of the suspension from the d21 on the 720. For sure the diff works.
