86 Maxima won't turn over 2k rpm

86 Maxima over 150k mi. automatic trans. Engine will not run over 2k rpm. Have checked for ground faults and connector corrosion. Also fixed many vacuum leaks. Still no fix. Any ideas?Thanks, Ron

i'd say check the AFM...its a common tell when the car wont rev past 2000...try and clean the connection before replacing...cheap in the junk yards.
