Hello!

I just purchased an 86 nissan 300zx, I am very excited as I love the look of the car and it has decently low miles on it.

I've just started working on getting it tuned up but I've noticed that when I am driving it and it goes over 50 mph there is a very noticeable "whistling" noise. It stops when I release the gas, I have not heard it when I am driving over 60 but it becomes difficult to hear much when driving on the freeway.

I'm looking for help in identifying where to start looking for the problem.

The car also needs some minor cosmetic changes and I'm wondering if there is a place to find parts like the covering of the sideview mirror or car panels.

So it is not wind noise I take it something in the engine?
