Ok. So im trying to figure out why this b*tch wont start. Im getting fuel/pressure. Im getting spark. Ive disconnected maf to see if itll limp. It will not go into limp mode. Almost fires up but not quite. Im getting tps code. Ac load code. Neutral safety code (i have a man 5 sp.) Speed sensor code. Fuel temp code. And idk VG engine that well but i have pics of some wires that idk what they are. This car was molested pretty badly when i got it. Cut wires and half a** tape jobs everywhere. Please help me out.

Sounds like you've got a lot going on, I'd start by checking out that tps code, the fsm details testing and calibrating the tps. Then I'd deal with that neutral safety, you might need to jumper a couple of wires at the ecu or at the relay depending if the ecu is from an auto or if your car was an auto. The fuel temp code is usually just a bad conection, clean it up and you most likely will get rid of that one, the fuel temp will cause the engine to run quite rich so you do want to fix it. after all that, if it still won't start, shoot a bit of starting fluid in the tb and try firing it up, if it still won't fire you likely have a spark issue, if it fires but dies off quickly then you need to look at the cas, it's part of the distributor and triggers not just the spark but has a separate signal that triggers the injectors.

I tried starting fluid in the TB and disconnected the maf. Nothing. Have spart at all 6 plug wires but havent gotten to see condition of plugs yet. It was 17 degrees outside so i can only do so much before i have to break. Got fuel temp switch fixed. As far as i know neutral safety will keep it from cranking. It flies freely just bumps like its going to start then doesnt. I found out wires were to AIV on drivers side. And the other 2 wires on passenger side by the ghetto a** hitch block off for pop off valve i still havent found. PO did run his own manual boost controler and intercooler so trying to figure out what vac lines he plugged/ by passed to tun them. FPRV is missing a vac line so i out that on. I can here pump and fpr when proming and after cranking (fpr). Im gonna start running ecu pin out testing when its warm enough for me to stay out longer than 20 mins. The thing i dont get is im getting spark..i have air..and fuel (starting fluid) but it still wont fire off. IF the plugs are sparking i should atleast get a 2 second start..

If it's not firing on starting fluid you are missing spark or compression. Until you verify spark at the plugs you haven't verified spark. Hopefully the best isn't broken and the cms are turning, unless you broke the timing belt or improperly installed it should hopefully have compression, which brings us back to spark.

Pulled plugs and they were FRIED. Put new ones in adjusted timing and new fuel filter and its running. Really well actually..until you give it throttle..now its bogging and stalling..but will kick in and drive perfect..the stall again. Ive checked tps and its good and so is maf. Efi relay s*** out?
