Now i know everyone keeps saying that an 89 clutch from a Maxima will work but i mean is it something special about the 89 model? I look on ebay and i see the Exedy clutches for 86-01... will those work? Also, will the throw out bearing and bushing work from the Maxima clutch kit or do i need to buy the ones from a 93? I have a red top S13 in my 93.

Why not just buy a SR20DET clutch?

The maxima clutches are more than half the price for an Exedy clutch and they are supposed to be able to handle the power just as good for basic bolt ons

I see, that would be a good reason. I remember seeing a cross reference on either http://www.zilvia.net or other 240 sites, let me see if I can find the information again and I'll post again.

Hey Silvia007... i found out that the clutch WILL fit but the throw out bearing and pilot bushing that comes with the kit wont. So u have to buy an SR20DET throw out bearing and pilot bushing but the Maxima Clutch and Pressure Plate will work fine.

I think you can buy the pilot and throwout from the KA24 at the dealership.
