Ive heard that alot of Weber's carbs will work and will work good on a z24. I have the same engine in my 86, an I'm saving up for Dual Weber 45's..

DUAL weber 45's? i think you'll be good with just one weber 45 to support 2.4 litres of 120-140 hp tops. i had a weber 38 on my 88 accord (2.0L about 110hp) which was plenty sufficient, much smoother than the stock crap.

then again, once you get rid of the stock stuff, theres no going back really, unless smog is no concern.

Brockstang brings up a good point. If you have underhood smog inspections in your area, you better check on the legality of this before proceeding with an aftermarket carb swap.
