Hey-O. I have a 85 Nissan 720 and was hoping someone could help me. On the dash display, my "sensor" lamp is always lit. Can anyone tell me what it might be pertaining to. I thought it might be the oxygen sensor but am unsure. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Which light is it exactly the ENGINE lamp? If so it is most likely exhaust related. Google ODBI codes, on my 90 Z you could short 2 pins on the On Board Diag 1 port and the lights would flash codes telling you what the error was related to. Twinturbo.net has the pin out and the codes on their site. I am almost sure all OBDI ports are the same and the nissan codes should be the same also.

Actually I think it is actually done on the computer under the passenger seat. There is a way to run diags from it if I am not mistaken. Search here for code test it has been posted before.
