85 300zx Turbo..... good daily???

there is a decent looking 300zx for sell my me and i was wondering if they make good dailys... i have always loved the Z31s and wanted one since i could drive... i dont know much about them i am a big euro guy, (have an 81 rabbit project, and an 01 Jetta VR6) the jetta is my daily right now but i am looking for something that costs a little less the maintain and better gas milage... i know any car that is 22 is gunna have is cons, just wondering if is gunna take and arm and a leg to fix or not

Welcome to NICO!you are correct about a 20 year old car , nothing lasts forever, form my experience Z31's have been drop dead dependable so long as you keep the timingbelt and associated hardware replaced at recomended intrevals, the present condition of the potential car should tell you a lot, if it looks to be well maintained and everything working well then you'll likely have good luck, and if it's got problems and shows signs of neglect well you're gonna have a painful road of repairs but once brought to good condition should prove quite dependable
