This car has the exhaust and intake type spark plugs and wires so it has double coils too. I dont know which coil wire hooks to what part of the distributor and how to re align the timing correctly.

The vehicle is not starting properly and it is misfiring badly then cuts off when i step on the gas or just dies in a min. I beleive the distributor is bad.

Would a bad turbo also cause the cut off when i step on the gas?

I need to know how to set up the distriburtor with TDC, does it stay on spark plug 1E or 1I the distributor seems to have to much play I dont know if its normal on this car, the rotor can be turned without effort a full 180 degress. I dont want to lose this car its so mint but I am running out of time. I cant even find a book for this car at any store.

With the distributor fully installed into the cover it should not rotate. If it does you have something broke on the shaft. Acommon problem on these old dual spark motors is the distributor rotor burns through and the spark goes to the distributor shaft rather then the plugs. Another thing to look for, is the screw that holds the rotor to the distributor shaft in?

Yea i did the tune up, I installed the rotor but before i removed it I noticed it turns a full 180 with no effort and i installed the new rotor and it did the same, The compression is good. I get a puff of smoke out of the throttle body, I beleive it is ignition but i want to make sure I am aligned, I will try a new distributor and install it but is there anre way of algning this, TDC markings?
