For all of you that want an Infinity Elite Extended warranty You need to call Scottsdale Infiniti dealership. I just got a 84 month 100k mile Elite Extended warranty for only:

$1894.00and thats with a $0. Deductable

Now I have a 2007 M35X with 27,000 on it so your situation my be different but I think that this is a great deal due to my local dealer wanted $2500 for a lesser warranty.

Wow, great deal. How did you pull that off? I bought mine from IoS for a $1960, but with a $100 deductible? However, mine was for a 2006 M45 with 30k miles, not M35x. Mine is valid until 2014 and 100k miles.

no big secret, I just let the guy know in the finace department that I ahve been researching on this website and others and have been told that he could give me a better deal than the other dealerships. And he told me to hold on a minute and came back with that.

Scotsdale Infiniti ha been the one to beat as of late. ALSO -- as an FYI, The Infiniti Elite warranties are IN EFFECT the DAY you buy them; there is no 30 day grace period as previously mentioned.

Finally, the best person to deal with on these warranties is the FInance Manager, whose name is Courtney. Just call their main number and ask for Courtney in Finance. SHe doesn't beat around the bush but gives you her best price on the spot. Mine was about $800 OFF the "MSRP" -- that being a 3-ring notebook all the dealers have that shows their "List Price" for the ELite Warranties. These are based on whether your car is new/used (AND NEW can be up to 6 months old as long as there is less than 10K on the ODO), then you have your months/miles of coverage, and finally you decide on $0 or $100 deductible.

I did the math on the price difference for the $0 versus $100 and for me, I was ahead of the game on my second visit using the warranty. There was about $150 difference in the total cost of the two warranties.

Scottsdale Infiniti + Courtney = best price.

FYI -- this is the same dealership that Joe T./everythingInfiniti dot com works at -- so they know and love nico members!

Did you buy 60mo/70K plan which translates to 84mo/100K? Why is everybody getting quotes in a different format. I was told that if I buy a 60mo/70K plan (and this is the maximum coverage I can get for my car), the coverage starts from the day I buy the plan. So if my factory warranty started 28 months back, I will get additional 60 months of coverage. Won't that make it a total coverage of 88 months? Or is it 60 months from today or 84 months from the car's original purchase day, whichever comes first. Is this how this think works?

FOr the ELITE Warranty, the months and miles start the day you buy it. In my case, on my 2003 M45, which is already out of the factory warranty, I added a 36 month/36,000 mile warranty - which is the LONGEST warranty I could buy given the age of my car. My miles at the time were 38,000. So I have 3 years and up to 74,000 miles of coverage.

Factory warranty is 4 years/50K miles I believe. So -- If your car is 2 years old, and has 25,000 miles, you still have 2 years and 25,000 miles of warranty left from the factory. Adding a 60 month (5 years) 75,000 mile warranty would actually give you 3 additional years (5 years from today) and an additional 75,000 miles of coverage -- for a TOTAL of 7 years/100,000 miles from the day you bought your car. If you drove a little over 14,000 miles/year. your mileage and years would max out at the same time = 7 years and 100,000 miles @ 14,285 miles/year.

I have been thinking about getting the Elite warranty but it is a bit confusing to my feeble mind. Why would I want to be double covered? To me an extended warranty would be best if it started the day or the mile that your factory warranty expired.

Yes...agree and it is called CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) program. It provides 2 years and 40,000 miles bumper-to-bumper after your factory warranty expires.

I was offered 60 Months / 60,000 for $2500 with $0 Deductible on an 06 M45, and I can purchase this the week before my factory warranty expires or before i hit 30k miles. So that's $500/yr or $416 / 10k miles.

Thus, my warranty goes for 108 Months / 90k total for ~$600 more. The extra 16 months is worth it to me as I won't put the miles on it like others.

Only one reason to pull the trigger now: It's CHEAPER. Two reasons:1. the price of the warranty, exclusive of other factors, goes up every year due to shop costs AND revised maintenance projections based on Real Life repairs.2. For every 10K miles on your car, the cost for the warranty (assuming same number of years/miles) goes up.

Example: on my '03, with 38K miles, my cost for the 36/36K warranty with $0 deductible was around $1,400. If I waited until my ODO read 40K miles, the SAME warranty coverage would have been $700 MORE.

ALso, if I had purchased it in mid-December rather than January 2nd, it would have cost me about $250 LESS -- as Infiniti USA raised the prices across the board on ALL Elite Warranties, due to increased internal costs. That's why they track all the repairs on all the cars.

Also -- Courtney (Scottsdale Infiniti) said the coverage is actually BETTER with the Elite over the bumper-to-bumper factory warranty. Not SURE if that's true, but she cited her own experience as an example. 2006 G35 -- CD Changer jammed. Had the shop pull the unit and back it went for a look-see. Turned out that she had a self-recorded CD in there that warped and therfore jammed. This is NOT a factory defect and Infiniti didn't cover it with the factory warranty -- cost her $1600 to fix (they had to replace the whole head unit), and that was with her employee discount. She CLAIMS that if she had had the ELITE warranty, Infiniti WOULD have covered and replaced the radio unit for free.

With that said, we are waiting another year or two on getting the warranty on the EX35 my wife's driving, as we are not sure if we'll keep it beyond 4 years. It's paid for and all, but we're just not sure she'll still want to drive it. I will definately be buying the Warranty if she decides to drive it past the current factory warranty expiration timeframe.

So it is 84mo from "original" in service or a total of 100k miles. I typically do not offer this coverage, b/c it usually allows less time. There are so many different variations, year, model, mileage, in service date, etc... So I truely appologize for any misunderstandings. This Certified Wrap warranty is available to you for the same price, you just want to make sure it is going to benefit you the same or more. Check on your original in service date and then add 84mo...if it is greater then 02/05/2014 then its worth it! Thanks Courtney -- I know I started your phone ringing when I posted and mentioned you and Scottsdale Infiniti after purchasing my Elite warranty for my 2003 M45 with 38K miles about a month ago (Tempe, AZ).

Pleased to see you signed up on the forum and you have posted a good overview of some of the variations in these waranties (proof that lawyers were heavily involved in their respective definitions...).

As you can also see, the pricing for these are all over the map; it's nice to have a source that will give us NICO members a straight, honest, no-haggle price.

Just to clear things up, It ended up to be a Certified car Elite Extended warrentee. 84mo 100k and it worked out for me due to the fact that my car was put into service on march 19th 2007. so that worked out to give me more time and mileage.

I got the Elite 7/100K $0 deductable warranty when I purchased the car new in January. It was $1420. I didn't know about Courtney at Scottsdale Infiniti at that time. Doesn't the cost of the warranty depend on 1) when your car was put into service, and 2) number of miles on the car as well as Deductable?

elite extended warranty is different from certified WRAP due to timing.

ELITE starts when you bought the car. so, if the car is almost 3.5 yrs + 5 years( elite ) = 8.5 years/100K

Certified /WRAP = 3.5 yrs + 3.5yrs( max) = 7 yrs(84 month)/ 100K.

m35x under 40K = 2832, 2531, 2288 w/ 0,50,100 deductable from Courtney IOS

I bought a pre-owned 2007 M45 this week from a non-infiniti dealer here in Charlotte. It has the advanced technology package on it. I know that the Ms are very reliable but I wanted a warranty given all the technology on the car. The dealer offered me a third-party warranty for $1850 from an outfit I had never heard of. I am sure dealing with them to cover the cost of fixing something like adaptive cruise control would have been a nightmare.

Luckily, I found this thread and knew to call Courtney. The 84 mo/100k certified wrap was the best deal for me too, and for only a few bucks more than the 3rd party POS, I get the peace-of-mind knowing that Infiniti is backing the warranty. I am now covered until 1/11/2014 or 100k.

Now the funny thing is I also called my local Infiniti dealer for an Elite Warranty quote. Their prices were almost twice as high as any of the prices Courtney gave me plus they did not even offer me the certified wrap. Based on their other pricing, I am sure it would have been twice the $1894 that I paid!

Seriously, if you are in the market for a warranty on your M35 or 45 call Courtney before you buy elsewhere.

just wondering. Did you ask Courtney the difference between the certified WRAP or Elite Warranty ? I guess it pretty much is the same for your CAR since you get an extra 5 yrs to 100 K whichever way you go.
