I am currently buying a 1983 Datsun 280zx t top but their are vinyl panels missing I am pretty sure for the trim around it on the roof.Where would I look for something so specific and could anyone who has a complete working t-top post some pictures so I have a good reference picture.

Are you asking about the sunshades? or the trim that covers the latch? or the trim that goes around the opening in the roof? Whatever you are looking for there are very few parts suppliers for these cars, MSA (zcarparts.com) being the largest. eBay will have lots of various used parts as well a NOS but may or may not have what you are looking for. Local Z Car clubs might be able to find used parts in your area. You did not include your location but ZDays is TN is rapidly approaching as well as ZCON in Austin and there might be other larger shows in your area where you might find additional sources.
