the carb is in original condition and has been stored now for about 6 years inside, needs rebuilt I would imagine... its the hitachi carb.. factory... andthe price is free if you com get it or pay for the shipping if you want. thanks

no, just the stock hitachi from an "83 z24 5 speed sport 2wd, was the gold color.. I sold the truck to my uncle in 2001, the thermostat stuck and cracked the head between the 2&3rd cyl... it still ran for a few weeks then I took it apart and we couldnt find a good head for less than I bout the truck for. $1,ooo. so we didnt ever fix it..., 310k miles and not even a ring groove or scratch in the block, still held 60-80psi oil pressure!!! gotta love those tough engines... I crushed the rusty shell along with the block and trans and rear end..... I feel violated, cuz i found a new head a week later for 250 bucks

if it was aftermarket i would have taken it in a heartbeat
