Good afternoon fellow datsun owners. i have my wonderful 83 280zx and the heater control vale or water c***(what ever you want to call it) is starting too leak. i see that its the weird design that has the temp controler on it but it still has a cable conectiong too it. im wondering if i can use one from a non ac model that doesnt have that funky thing to save just a little bit of money. ive already found the correct one for the car but i dont want too pay $179.99 for a rebuild one from z car source. i have found the non ac model valve from z car depot and one from motorsports auto. if any one has any infor on what needs to be done please tell me. im considering on temporarily by passing the heater all together since im in phoenix az. thanks
