Hi all, I'm debating picking up a 280zxt, in overall good condition with 82k miles on it. Very little surface/superficial rust, and the passenger door sags a bit. Car runs and drives, but idles a bit rough and hesitates on take off. Once it gets going, it feels good, and the turbo spools up as it should. Biggest problem is that it's automatic! :p But I want it for a hip daily anyway, so I think it will fit the bill just fine. I'm looking at $2400 for it, just wanted some expert opinions before I pull the trigger. Thanks!

for the price it looks like a good deal, if you really wanted a 5 speed the swap isn't hard, the hesitation and rough idle could be a number of things, injector connectors and dried out hoses plugs and wires are all potential issues, worst case scenario is the afm, it's not cheap but it's not hard to swap

if the chassis is solid I say go for it, but have a shop put it up on racks and look for rust on the pans and rails

Looks really clean, luckily it looks like you live out west and dont have to worry about rust.

Looks like a great buy! I had one of those in the 90´s and it was a blast of a car. Back then it was very ussual to fit a front spoiler. Have fun!
