slipping clutch gonna go out on a limb and say maybe it needs a clutch??
erg gone, well you can leave it gone or put it back to stock if you prefer, just makes intake or exhaust removal more difficult
the voltmeter, I honetly don't recall if it stays on but if it doesn't go up when running then something is definitely wrong, alt, voltage regulator (which should be internal on your car) wiring??
gas "meter", and speedo, maybe a new cluster is a good idea, ebay is full of used z parts then there are local clubs, larger used parts suppliers like zbarn et

as for difficulty starting, are you pumping the pedal before or while cranking, you realize the car is injected so pumping before cranking does nothing, and pumping while cranking you could flood the engine, first thing I'd check is fuel presure, put a gauge inline and see if it holds pressure overnight, if nto then the seal in the fpr si bad, replace ti and it should hold pressure and bea easier to start

also motor, not moter
now that we're clear on those issues

pushing the pedal while cranking is generally a bad idea on a fuel injected car, do the fuel pressure test i described and let us know what you find
