81 280zx common issues

Hello there NICO! Been lurking for quite awhile now and finally have a good reason to post. I am looking at buying a 81 280zx NA and was hoping someone might know of some of the more common issues with this model/generation of car. It is pretty clean overall with a rust dime or two on the front fenders. Needs to be repainted but not urgently. 120k original miles Thank you very much for your time not only on this thread but on creating the awesomeness that is NICOclub

rust would be the biggest enemy.

the drivetrain on the car is generally very reliable if it's been taken care of.

just look for trouble spots in the sheetmetal and chassis. it and the Z32 run a nice race to see which is more unloved by the aftermarket
