80s Flashback (Oldsmobile)

1988 Oldsmobile Trofeo with a touch screen. Had a digital compass and animated indicators and menus for nearly everything. It also had an indicator and function with an on-screen keypad for making and receiving phone calls -- something the 2002-2005 Q45 doesnt have but was promised (Are you listening, Nissan?!)

I had no idea such a thing existed back then until tonight. Amazing! To hell with GM for killing Olds.

Very nice car indeed for its day, and even for today it seems.

Grand Prix and other pontiacs had similar stuff...

I don't recall Chevrolet using any of that stuff though...

The Buick Reatta had a similar system but there was no color, and it had no built-in phone. Olds was also the first brand to have GPS navigation and OnStar.

hell no imports only for me please. I hated cars when i was a kid due to the wild rednecks going crazy at nascar. So, you think im going to like some ugly *** 80's car? don't think so...

want to know a ugly 80's import? R31

Yeah, if you could keep up with it. The guys that modify their turbo Buicks are typically insane. I will still always think of Repoman when I see a turbo Buick.bud
