805 GTG

Well, I enjoy the fact that people have these huge GTG here in Ca. But the fact that driving over an hour and over 50 miles to chat it up with other 240 owners kind of sucks.

I see 240s in my area all the time and I know that there are shops around the 805 the specialize on our cars. I would like to see if there is any interest in setting something up around here.

Normally I go out to Simi Valley on tuesdays to see what kind of cars are showing up, but it is still dominated by scions. Maybe we can get more rear-wheel drive cars out there on tuesday, or maybe another night.

Please post up any ideas or thoughts.

We should get a new spot on a weekly basis. Let me know cause I don't do **** every weeknight. If we start something then we can get more Nissans out. I was also thinking of doing cruises in Ojai or to neptunes net. The sun doesnt set till almost 8.

Either place would work for me, but most of those guys wont want to go out once it starts to get darker. That does sound like a good drive though.

Also, I have noticed a few guys coming out to the target center off of los posas in camarillo. Lot of people trying to do burn outs, and a few nice rides as well.

yeah not a fan of the target center, I do admit alot of nice rides show up usually see a type R integra thats well done. Yeah it seems to be a place where they go to do burn outs and that one old guy who flaunts his Z thats race prepped to teenagers like he has to improve his ego or virtual pen15 size by flaunting a car that a company built for his non mechanically inclined ***.Met up with 2 other 240s there and an RX8 me and my buddy Kamo where trying to get them to actually do some rounds in the parking lot or go to a canyon, kid the in rx8 didnt want to dirty his car.Ive noticed one thing about that parking lot is that the cops show up and dont stop the people burning out or when we go to the back and drift in the lot.

Doesn't matter to me anywhere is fine. We could start the run at 6 while the suns still out or earlier and end up where evers at night. As long as theirs food where we end up at.

Its tuesday night people show up as early as 5 but it really isnt full until like 8-9.its always sad to go their and sit around all the fwd-ness, and honestly I owned and totaled a tC in 3 weeks, the cars are made of plastic I swear but people still have the urge to make a car with an all glass roof fast.

But seriously im down for some mountain time but where to go? the town has a few passes but they range from lame like santa su to the point where I cant get people to come with me in Black or Box.

Stunt road is not even two hours away from where I live but man oh man going up is fun for turbo coming down is scary for all if you got a lead foot.

Im totally down for showing you what we got in my crummy town, im letting you know ahead of time its not the greatest but its what I have to play with close to home. Where you coming from?

Its not dead, I will be there on tuesday at the regal I really shouldnt do anything insane as I threw my clutch out of alignment again But hell if you guys show up and feel like some mountain time we can hit santa su pass, or at least chill at the overpass just because it isnt populated by scion's and the lambo wing club plus canyon downhill.Either way it would be nice to at least talk to other nissan owners about tuning/driving and not "gee you lyke mah lambo door 35?"
