I found some used work equip that im very interested in(cuz its only$80 idk y). So i call memoryfab and ask them how much the shipping would be, they said it will about about $461 to ship it over to my house. Also i still need to get it refinish so thats also probably gonna cost me about $400. Ooo and it is 16x8 and 16x9 not sure about the offset but it looks prety good. Would this be worth it???

wtf dude. i think you said you could get a set of $80 equips (what type?) but there would be an additional 850+ worth of shipping/refinishing? why would they have to be "refinished?" is this on a current yahoo.jp auction that they would bid on/buy for you?

pics or thread fail.

so a total of $900-something for those wheels shipped to your door? there are better deals out there, but that doesn't seem to be a huge ripoff.

i would find out exactly what kind of work they need and what the cost breakdown of the $400 refinishing fee is on it. just my opinion.

I would also question why the hell it would cost 400 some dollars to ship.

shipping is from japan, speedy.

rbmotoring has good deals but its damn hard to find a set of wheels that isnt staggered with poor offsets.

I agree with d!ck........ why do that HAVE TO refinish them? those wheels are pretty hot.

little over 500 including shipping isnt horrible to me for some nice looking work wheels.

i dont have any idea what you are talking about, op, and maybe you don't either.

you keep saying refinish, but nothing looks like it needs to be refinished in the pics of the wheels you are posting. i guarantee after you spend the $900-something to get them shipped to your door they will be in the same condition as the wheels at rbmotoring wheels for the same price.

so what are you saying? that a spot of paint on one wheel takes $400 to remove?

Some mineral spirits, elbow greese, and a spray of clear coat should clean them up nicely. either that or you can get them powder coated..... hell you can even use a rattle can and for 5 bucks you cant see the paint anymore.

i dont understand why the OP wont just go pikc up a set of elites. its cheap, descent wheels with the lip he's looking for and come in better offsets than whats comonly found

i would rock elites if they made them in a 5 lug bolt pattern. unsprung weight on the Cressida is the least of my worries. does anyone know of a place that sells them in 5x114.3 or even where the hell they came from?

so to clear this up:

- you dont care about offsets or stagger as long as the wheel looks good- you are willing to pay $400 for a "refinishing" service to remove one paint spot- you are willing to pay for a name brand even if it comes at the price of proper size and fitment.

safe to say absolutely nobody here can help you, man.

Are you sure that's just errant paint and not cracks on the wheels from upgarage?
