8 month update

Hey all, wanted to give an update on how well my mother's 04 platinum edition pathfinder is doing 8 months later. we've put around 10,000 miles on it and It currently sits around 152,000 miles and not one mechanical issue what so ever, we went ahead and got rid of the factory 6 disc changer due to the infamous skipping issue and replaced it with a kenwood unit with built in bluetooth. She loves the power and the handling of it and plans to keep it until it dies. The only issues with it currently are a flickering dome light and a possible damaged door magnetic switch. we've had little maintenance done to it, other than new belts, fuel filter and position sensors, nothing has gone wrong with it. One repair that nearly cut our time short with it was a diagnosis of possible stretched timing chain which later turned out to be a case of someone did not fill the car with the recommended 5qts of oil and nearly ran the car dry . after that simple fix the car has been running beautifully and with luck hopefully we can keep this car until it just gets sick of us
