Ive got a 1995 240SX SEI need to where to run my 8 gauge wire through the firewall in order to connect to the battery, that is, without drilling a hole. Where would I drill a safe whole anyway? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i think all 240's are the same. there is a hole that isn't even used on the passenger side floorboard. lift up the carpet and you'll see it.

you can poke a hole through the boot on the drivers side where the wiring goes to the fuse box...thats where i did min...it was easy

Passenger side, in the fenderwell, behind the liner, you'll find a grommet, about sized for 4 gauge. It dumps out right above the ECU. That's where my MAF harness runs now, makes it invisible.

i looked for about 5 minutes for an unused hole and gave up and just drilled a hole through the passenger floor and sealed the other side w/ silicone. It popped out in a spot and all is well :-)

I was just wondering what is a speed whole? And what is it used for? I have Zero gauge running from my left side(driver side) but i took it in to a shop for them to install. I am not sure what they did if they even drilled a whole or cut something.
