I've been floating around this fourm for a little bit getting ready to make some small mods... I'm in the market for new Tires, and figured why not go with new set of wheels while I'm buying tires anyway. Sooo the slate is clean. I did however find these that I like... they are 18x8.75, and which from reading on here I've gathered shouldn't be too much of a problem with rubbing, tires providing of course. They've got an offset of 33 which I also think I've gathered should be sharp. (BTW. I've got an 2010 A/C) ... but tires are what are confusing me....
I'm looking for tires that'll look sharp, but also provide me with the option to slightly drop using the E-Springs I've seen used by many board members on here. So I was wondering if someone could help me with a recommendation for tires both in dimensions, and maybe even brand?
So yah.... any input?Image (These wheels are actually 'chronium black' - they've got a darker tint to them, this photo is just kinda weird...)

Hello
You shouldn't have any problems with 18x8.75 +33
As for the tires, you can make the car look chunky by running 245/45/18. BUT, the ride height (from the ground) will increase by 4.7mm.
The best 18" tires are 235/45/18, they're the closest thing to the OEM diameter. (ride height increase of 0.2mm)
wheel spec in my sig: 18x9 + 30 f, +20 R, 245/45/18, lowered on coils, rolled fenders.
You won't have any rubbing issues with either 245 or 235 tires, even with Eibach springs, and you don't have to roll your fenders.

If you're gonna get XXR's then you might aswell get 19s or 20s. They're not that expensive and will fill your wheel gap pretty nice.

I'm doing the same wheels!
I have 245 45 18's and have been told by multiple sources that I shouldn't have any issues.
Gonna do hyper-silver though.

i have these wheels on my car (same color to till they are powdercoated in a couple weeks) and 0 issues with the size. im running on 235/45/18 lowered on the eibach kit and they fit perfect. although i wish i had gotten them with a lower offset.

Just thought I'd update everyone and show how it came out! I went with the XXRs and installed Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs myself in about 4 hours ....
