7m-gte..into a s13coupe

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

hey all new to hybrid forums. was wondering what is needed to do a 7m-gte in a coupe. i have never seen this done before nor is there too much info on how-to's. all info is much appreciated i have two of these motors in mint condition. also i was considering the 1jz/2jz with the 1jz as my preference, soi got the idea of the 7m-gte as its a pretty strong motor. it can handle much abuse and very cost effective. i can get the long block motor set all day for under 1k!! so parts for it aren't an issue.

7M is a waste of time sell the two motors and get a 1j

well ive spent the past weekend looking at different threads, hybrid builds( mainly ls1/2jz swaps). but how about the 5.0 out of a fox body stang? is this called the 302? i would like to tackle a 5.0 swap in my s13. they re very cheap to get as a motor/tranny deal. any info on how/what is needed drop this thing in?

Google it first and see what you have to do to put that off and you will find only one, thats still not finished with 100's of hours of fab into it.

As far as 7M well the jz swap crossmember would work, but if your dishing that cash out go jz. As far as the 7MGTE in a Supra, sure I have friends with them. One at only 330RWHP the other about 850. Capable little headaches.
