Hey All,
Concerning my Datsun truck mentioned above. Are there any carb replacement options. I thought I read somewhere in the forum that one could use an after market carb upgrade? Thanks.

Really only thing if you retain the factory intake is a weber carb.unless can finda dual su set up off a 510

Holley 2 barrel, make your own intake, using stock intake,holley 2 barrel adapter plate.

Would a replacement carb kit make the truck more fuel efficient? Or, is the original carb the best for fuel efficiency?

Weber gives better mpg and much better performance

I use an SU set from a 510 SSS and my gas mileage improved if it changed at all from the stock Hitachi, which I am not fond of.
