I had a 1975 620 back in '75 and had it all tricked out. Wish I still had it.. I've found a 1978 620 here in Kalifornia but I know '78 had smog equipment. Was wondering if anybody knew of any problems with getting it registered and smogged in Cali? I understand from the smog guy that CARB is thinking of making the smog checks stricter and if so most older vehicles won't pass, so don't want to buy, restore, fall in love with it only to find out that Kalifornia won't let me renew my reg.

Any other problems I should know about with the '78 year model? I figure from what I've seen there are a lot of parts still available for these.

Man, honestly don't know the whole process down there. I'm not sure how to make it pass the visual inspection, but if it needs to pass the sniffer I'm sure we can help you out there. Welcome man, and hope you find what ya need!
