hi, im looking for a 510 and found one. its a 1978 sedan. is this vehicle a good choice to hook up? all i seem to read about are the earleir models. please help me before i make a mistake. thanks.

I guess its all what body style do you liek more. HL or PL. PL510s were from 68-73 (granted there ARE some 67 510s. Local guy has one. 1300CC colum shift 3 speed standard, bench seat. pretty cool car.)

HL has an L20B or Z series PL has a L16 but can easily be swapped out for soemthign bigger. The PL has a much bigger following then the HL as well.

and the beloved PL510. the red one is Keith laws Turbo monster. That car is scary fast. 360 dyno proven RWHP! and the white one is mine when I 1st bought it.. was rather beat up. same car in my sig. cept after a bunch of work.
