I have been working on rebuilding the engin in my project Z for about two years, i finished the engine and removed the dash so i could try to fix it up, the sun destroyed it.

either way, i had to rush to put it back in so i couldnt complete the dash the way i wanted to, in the process i found i had no power to the dash, or anything for that matter, i traced the battery cable, and the main power went into The fuel Injection Relay under the dash, recently i ordered a replacement on ebay, used, and finally got to install it. now that part is relaying power to my engine but not to my dash, so i went to pick n' pull and pulled another one, when its installed i still get no power to anything. there is no power to any of the functions, nothing to the brain, nothign to the gauges, its basically dead.

I love my z car and am at a loss, is it possible that both of my replacement relays are bad? or could there be a short in the wiring that is preventing me from getting any kind of power to the dash, i dont know what else to do, i could use some help. im a big fan of this older z style and i dont wanna scrap/sell my car, but i cant afford to have it sitting around any more.

I suspect you plugged somethign in wrongwhen yo put the dash bck in, time tp pull it and check over all your connections carefully this time

ok, i guess i shoulda been more clear on that....
i did remove it, in fact ive taken it out about 6 times, all my plugs are in correctly, everything seems to be where it goes, i havent missed anything. when i did rush it, it was just to put the dash back in without finishing it how i wanted to. thats why im at a loss. ive pulled it, inspected everything, and plugged it back in. im just very frustrated.
