so you all will be glad to know that i bought 750cc injectors, wideband, and chip tunes for 93 octane, and one for 110octane.
i plan to run 55psi of fuel pressure.
i know i will be able to tell how much boost i can run by looking at air fuels, but i was wondering what kind of boost you guys think would be safe to run on pump gas and on race gas.

Why not start with the lower boost levels and work your way up. Until you understand what you're dealing with, I won't inquire about the 20-30psi of boost because you still have other obstacles you have to overcome such as your ignition. The tuning determines how much boost you can safely run, not so much the add-ons, but they do have some significance. And the way you are going about it with these "chips" you refer to, you're just a hiccup away from another meltdown.

false, but i planned to watch my a/f and go up from there, which is apparently what ill be doing, i think nothing over 13 a/f will i go any higher in boost.

20 psi on that big top mount, id personally like to see peak torque being supplied with an 11.2-11.8 afr, tapering up towards somewhere into the 12's as the engine continues to spin to redline. By bumping your base pressure to 55 psi, your entire fuel map/chip tune will be effected....something to keep in mind. You dont want a 12.2 afr cruising down the highway in partial vaccuum.

Oh yeah, you don't need 55psi of pressure. Crank your regulator up and see what happens. I run my 750s and 1000s at 40psi and the cars behave wonderfully. Remember, the regulators are the rising rate type, so putting your base fuel pressure to 55 psi may result in a bad running car and/or put a lot of stress on your fuel pump.
