My G35 Sedan has 16,000 miles. It feels stronger, gets much better gas mileage and the suspension has settled noticeably from the day I picked it up.

It is time to mod it now.

:D

BTW, that works out to over 200 miles per DAY since I bought it

Warranty will be over relatively soon and I can throw the engine into rebuild mode.

Bought it May 3rd with 7 miles on it.

Only the young [or long haul truck drivers] can survive that kind of bodily abuse: +1300 miles per week for a year.

I put a 100,000 miles [already had 100,000 miles] on my 1990 Q from mid 1997 to mid 2000: the R&R cost [to return it to new condition mechanically] was roughly $14,000. The SC and NC roads were so bad it was severe on the suspension, motor/tranny mounts, everything rubber isolated failed, the shocks gave up every 50k, etc,etc........even the wheels had to be replaced.

I used larger AVS I so it was 2 sets of tires per year and brakes constantly. But thanks to frequent fluid changes, the engine is still fine at 253,000 miles now.......it has had a rather restful last 3 years only 17.5k per year.

Careful of mods: everything I did to make the car handle better just beat me up on the rides more. Tightly coupled rear sway bars and bad roads don't mix.

Hope you have nothing but smooth miles.

surprisingly enough even after 20-26 hours in the driver's seat my back and neck were fine even on US highways (instead of interstates)

Yes high quality dampers are a must when setting up a suspension on a car like this.

I am saving for JIC's currently, as well as tires and upgraded brake pads.
