Can a safcII handle 740 injectors? i've gotta redtop with a 60-1 turbo, z32 maf, and 740s, and a jwt ecu that is set up for this... it's not giving me any codes but it runs like crap. its so rich and I'm having all sorts of trouble tuning the thing. i know every car is different in this respect but what in out numbers should i be using? i even read somewhere that with the redtop you should set the cylinder#s to 1... anybody have an idea?

Bro I dont know much about FC's so I probably shouldnt write in on this but for the most part I am pretty sure it would be able to handle 740's. of course someone correct me if im wrong. I wrote in to ask what you mean by running like crap and when you upgraded to all of this stuff? and to ask how you wired your maf. maybe we can find out why its running like crap before you go and by a FC also is the red led turning off when the engine is running?

With a setup like that, I'd ditch the piggybacks and run a Power FC. Visit http://www.evans-tuning.com for a tuning appointment. Your car will be reliable, have great driveability and make great power.

You set the cylinders to 4. And yes the afc can handle the 740cc injectors if your jwt ecu is tuned for 740cc injectors.

no it's cool whatever input i get is good. the car is just running REALLY rich. i know i wired the maf right because my afc is showing me a .4 from the maf at idle. also if it wasn't wired right it wouldn't rev past like 2K. my ecu is fine. i already checked for codes and the only one i get is 55:). the car is still extremely fast. there is no hesitation or bucking but when i backoff the gas it pops real loud. (i'm assuming it's unburned gas blowing up in the exhaust). it's definitely NOT leaning out. i pulled the plugs and they are seriously black. i'm just a little confused about the afc. i need to lean the car out. i have the apexi manual but i need input abou those in-out numbers. i have it set on hotwire but beyond that i'm clueless. someone told me 2(z32 maf) in and 5 (240sx) out, but i don't think that's right. i've got the cylinder selection on 4 with arrow pointed up/right. maybe i just need to start changing the numbers and wait till my afr gives me good reading?????

You said you're just going to keep adjusting afr until you get good readings. Are you using a wideband o2 setup and if so what are your afr's?

Did you set your decel-air settings?

Easy to do, helps out a ton with bumper poo and fouled plugs.

Start car cold.

Go to decel air, and set it as low as it will go and still maintain idle (usually around 1.5ish) Set 2nd point .75 to 1.2 higher (2.2-2.7) and you're done.

Also, do you have a wideband? I'll bet you're running super rich as it goes into boost, also causing the foul, so spend the 290 bucks on the aem gauge type wideband, and toy with it.

Or spend the 1k on the PFC with datalogit and be done with tuning woes.
