74' Datsun 260z Not getting spark.

Heyas, I have a 74' Datsun 260z that stopped running all of a sudden while I was driving. After checking the connections and moving everthing around I got it to start but it died again after a few blocks. I towed it home and since I have replaced the plugs, wires, distro cap, rotor, coil wire, igno coil. And checked most of the connections with a ohm meter. THe coil has 12v going in but does not spark againt the chasis when I'm turning it over. I believe it is somethiong before the coil? But of so I have no idea where or what it could be. welcome to NICO I am going to assume you have a factory carb'd 260 (reportedly some came injected) (althout it sounds like your running webber DGV's (downdrafts on "J pipe adapters)) and I'll assume you have a points distributor? which means the negetive side of the coil is hooked to the one wire coming out of your distributor? didn't simpley come unplugged did it?have you checked you points at all?
