What symptoms are you currently getting? Have you tried spraying starter fluid down the carb to see of it is a fuel issue or something else? Is it cranking and just not turning over etc.?

So it shoots fuel and tries to kick but won't run? Were the plugs put on before or after this happened?

I am about to do the same carb swap.... kind of curious if the regular diaphram fuel pump will work? It came with a fuel pump block off kit and hoping I dont have to wire in a electric fuel pump.

klarkkentster, An electric pump may be best but its not necessary
bob911, depending on the symptoms it could be the valve timing is out, the ignition timing is out or no fuel in the carb.
