Few days ago i tried to start the truck up after letting it sit for about a week or two and starts up great. only problem is the heater wouldn't turn on. checked the fuses inside the driver side and all looked good. took apart the control unit and tested the ground on the unit, looks good. next i turned the key to on and checked voltage. reads zero across all settings. i haven't checked the blower because if i'm reading the wiring diagram right (first time ever using one. didnt think physics would ever haunt me like this) if the control unit isnt getting any voltage, than the blower wouldnt either. so now i'm stuck. whats the flaw in my diagnostics?

second question:
the cable to the temp control snapped so i traced it back and its not connected to anything. i tried autozone's manual but couldnt understand the picture. so help with that also.

thanks.

ok, so the longer i stare at this diagram the more i'm starting to think that i'm reading it backwards. going to go test the motor and try replacing that to complete the circuit.

never mind, the culprit was the 4-pin connector from the controller to the wiring.

still dont know where that loop thing connects to though so help for that is appreciated.

I haven't messed with my heater yet, but it should be pretty evident where is connects just figuring out how the door is supposed to move.

just to make sure, i'm not talking about the line that redirects the air, its the one that adjust the temp. and if so, i have no idea what door your talking about. lol
