720 accelerator pump

I just acquired a 720 w/z24. I drained gas tank flushed lines and put a new filter on. I rebuilt the carburetor w/walker kit. The new accelerator pump will not pump gas, what do you think is wrong? I followed fastboatmans instuctions.

I'm not sure if it's applicable, but I seem to remember reading something about the 720 using a return line that's wide-open, which results in no fuel pressure at the carb.

I suppose you could pinch off the return and see if it functions then. If so, a fuel pressure regulator on the return would make sense.

Thankyou for the return but I am getting gas to the carb but the accelerator pump is not pushing any gas to the venturi
