72 240Z Electrical Problem

Greetings all. I am new to the site and would like to know if anyone has had this particular electrical problem - The fuse for the running lights, tail lights and dashboard lights blew out, and I cannot find the short yet. I have disconnected all the exterior lights one by one to try to isolate the cause, and took apart the steering column cover to expose the turn singnal/light stock switch and wiring and but no luck so far. Any ideas on how to find the short?

could be in the fuse block, could also be in the wiring, check resistance to groun on the hot side fo the cirrcuit then test again with the fuse block disconnected
