Hey fellows, i just received s13 CA front clip it has roughly 70k on it, after doing several searches i got the assumption 70k is pretty high(please correct me if im wrong). Unfortunatelyi cant touch until i finish moving, for the time being i was wondering if a few of you guys could give me a heads up of what to expect that will break.

Thanks.

The mileage could be a good thing if it was regularly driven and maintained. But most people here myself included woudl recommend a tear down, inspection, and rebuild as needed.

70k miles or km's? I wouldn't consider either of them too high... considering the age of them at least.

Its 70k miles, and i also noticed that the clip had a few aftermarket parts on it , that were taking off before i received the clip. Also at this point I was looking to tackle the suspension, but i don’t want blow my money away, sense there is a possibility a rebuild could be necessary. But i really do appreciate you guys input on this, and looking forward to more.

Most importers offer a 30-day warranty on their clips/engine sets less a warranty on the turbo, which gets no warranty. If you wanna do something to be safe, inspect the timing belt. Other than that, I would suggest installing the engine set in the car and enjoying it. Makes no sense to tear down an engine that you've already spent money on, that probably doesn't need a tear-down an way. My advice, get your money's worth before you go dumping more money.

Well, thats one way to look at it you right on that. This car is my daily driver so in a way i would like it to be as realiable as posible, so at this point i'm thinking a tear down might be a pretty good idea.
