hey guys im new here and i just had my engine rebuilt with a .5 overbore on it well got it back and it only has 70 hp and 90 tq blah! well it revs all the way and the care drives fine will cruising but when i punch it the engine revs and no power timing seems fine and i cant figure what the hell is happening with it some one said i didnt have enough fuel pressure so im testing it this weekend and that it was due to running in limp-mode or safe mode. what going on are they right or is someithing else the matter. the car ran fine before except the idle problem and now its fixed that. i also forgot to metion i had the heads ported and polished would that make the diff. i took to the shop and the change the fuel filter and cleaned the maf before it was 60hp and 80tq so maybe it the fuel right.

What are you using to test the power? Maybe someone at the dyno is messing something up.

yea guy its only 70 hp no mistake even though it has opened up a little but still i checked the fuel pressure and the pump is goos as well as the sensors but still no problem as for breaking in the rings i dont think thats the problem i read in a book that with a bore on an engine i need a new fpr if the displacement had change more than 10% dont know if its that much it was a .5 overbore can anyone tell me if its 10% anyway i got a new fpr and im going to try it. and as for the civic post i was thinking the same thing!!!

I can't even imagine what a 70hp ka engine would feel like... And I've driven some slow crap in my day.

ok still some issues i got it dyno today it only had 105hp and 110tq to the wheels on a dynojet and they ran the ac as i saw when i got in to it so some thing is still wrong they said it might be because its still and auto is this true to have lower numbers due to an auto i know i prob have at least +5 if the ac was off so that brings the numbers to 110hp and 115 tq but stock should have like 135hp and 140 tq right

Even if the a/c was on high and it's an automatic, those numbers are pretty far off...
