Its an early date code (12/69) 521, note the round reflectors only the 60's models have for 521.  It my daily I use for construction work and has the L16 with Weber DGEV and matchbox dizzy.  Soon to swap frames with a 86 720.

There are a couple dings, but thats what trucks are for

Its all original, except for motor.  AM radio works great and all the wiring is literally un-touched and really nice still.

For the attachments to post directly in the posting, they have to be 800 pixels or less wide...it's for those who don't have hi-res screens to view...

You have the same mirrors I do...do you know anything about them?

I think they were a dealer add-on but everyone else says not...they are smaller than the Datsun Factory options, so who knows...

I'm going to have to find someone to make me new arms to hold them as mine have rusted thru...

I'm not sure about the history on the tow mirrors.  I dont think it was an option cause it looks to be just screwed on.  Who knows   Mine are pretty good, alittle surface rust about size of a dime.  Thanks bud.

That might not be too far away actually.  When the frame swap comes around, I may be giving up alot of some stock stuff.  I'm deciding on shaving the handles, mirrors, markers, drip rails, grille, tailights, tailgate, bed tie downs, emblems,  and bumpers.  Then installing my own custom touches.  So you may just have your set of mirrors.

[font="georgia"]NL your 521 is very clean! I like the round reflectors, ive only seen those on a few 521's. I also own a 69 L 521 but it has no side markers/reflectors on it but does have small round ones on the rear of the bed. Was the motor sawp difficult & are those the original mirrors [small ones]?
